"Heart" Shaped Tins

Shaped gramophone needle tins of any sort and size are much scarcer than the more common rectangle shapes.  Triangle shaped tins have long been sought after by collectors as being something special, due to their limited production.

From Japan came a unique shaped tin, which is even rarer.  These 'rounded triangular' tins most likely were only made by one factory who did all of the various designs.  The printed designs were often framed in a "heart outline" which somewhat deceives the eye as to the true shape of the tin.  Because of their rarity many collectors have never seen them, let alone be fortunate enough to have them in their collection.
