The Napoleon Gramophone Company of Japan made not only gramophone players but some of the most iconic gramophone needle tins.  The Napoleon needle tins come in almost endless varieties, shapes and sizes.  The earlier designs were the most colourful and graphic and as the 20th century progresses you can see how they eventually change into single colour embossed tins.  As a collector it still remains a thrill to find a Napoleon that I haven't seen before, not matter how plain it may be.
